Question Asked:

Isn't it news worthy? Posted last year by Dani Morgan in Forward Steps

Hello:

As I read your blogs, I was impressed with the quality of the writing.

I wanted to pitch a potential topic for you to write about as its news worthy, has a human interest element, and it is relevant in today's economy.

1. Shpoonkle.com has developed a free website to provide legal advocacy in the Legal Services Markeplace.

2. The success of this startup has been amazing and in 7 months the site has over 5000 international registered members. We average well over 5,000 daily site visitors. We also have over 30,000 RSS subscribers and over 650 Twitter followers. Shpoonkle is rapidly growing, and we are getting a lot of media exposure on: NBC Miami, The Lifetime Channel, Wall Street Journal, ABA Journal, Chicago Tribune, The Economist, Venturebeat.com.

3. The free services have been featured on over 1000 international and reputable media outlets.

4. Shpoonkle.com is the brain child of 22 year CEO Robert Niznik, who founded the start up last year and is finishing law school in December 2011. With unemployment at an all time high for all professionals, Robert Niznik wanted to create a service that would create jobs for legal professionals and also facilitate affordable legal services.

5. Robert Niznik's appears on The Balancing Act on Lifetime to discuss women facing today’s greatest challenges which are often Legal Services.

Given the continuous debate about legal services costs and the economy, Shpoonkle is big news. Shpoonkle in less than a year has been able to drive down legal costs for their users by almost 30% on their web site.

Most Americans are in the “legal doughnut hole” with legal services. These individuals are not eligible for legal aid as they may make too much, but cannot afford the national average for attorney fees. Most are just left in the empty area in the middle with no real recourse to get the legal help they really need. The Shpoonkle model serves to rectify that issue and help people by connecting them to affordable legal help.

If you would like to learn more about Shpoonkle.com and perhaps schedule and interview you can:

Thank you Dani.

This is not usually a topic that is catered to in my blogs or within content at my sites.

I'll consider where I might best let my readers know about Shpoonkle. Although it seems that word is already getting out.

I might publish a short piece at http://wealth-and-money.blogspot.com which seems my most appropriate blog for this information.

Best regards, Thea
